We are committed to protecting your privacy and minimizing data collection. We only collect what is necessary to operate the marketplace and process purchases.

2. What Data We Collect

From customers who purchase apps:

• Email address (for license key delivery and order confirmation)
• Purchase history (which apps you bought, when)
• License keys and activation status
• Device ID (when you activate a license in an app)

From developers who submit apps:

• Email address (for account and notifications)
• App submission details (name, description, category, price)
• Uploaded app files (stored on Cloudflare R2)
• Sales data (number of downloads, revenue)

From visitors who browse the site:

• Basic analytics (page views, browser type) — no personal data
• No tracking cookies for advertising

3. Payment Data

We do NOT store your credit card or payment information.

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe handles your credit card data securely in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We only receive your email address and payment confirmation from Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To deliver purchased apps and license keys to you
• To validate and activate your software licenses
• To send order confirmations and important account notifications
• To process developer payouts and track sales
• To prevent fraud and abuse of the Service
• To respond to support requests

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Use your data for advertising
• Send marketing emails unless you opt in
• Track you across other websites

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored in the following locations:

• Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL) — stores user accounts, license keys, redemption codes, and marketplace listings
• App files: Cloudflare R2 — stores APK files and map databases
• Payment records: Stripe — stores transaction history and payment methods
• Hosting: Vercel — hosts the website and API

All providers are US-based and comply with applicable data protection laws.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the Service:

• Purchase records and license keys: retained indefinitely (so you can re-download apps)
• Developer account data: retained until account is deleted
• App files: retained until the app is removed from the marketplace
• Analytics data: retained for 12 months

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)

11a. Third-Party Apps and Data Collection

Apps listed on our marketplace by third-party developers may collect data, display ads, or contain in-app purchases. We do not control this.

BCAppsDev LLC only collects the data described in this Privacy Policy (email, purchase history, license keys). We do NOT collect data through third-party apps. However, third-party apps themselves may collect:

• Usage data and analytics
• Device information and identifiers
• Location data
• Contacts or other personal data

Each third-party app has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for what third-party apps collect or how they use it. Review each app's privacy policy and permissions before installing.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
