A clear price
Hello. We sell our own apps at prices we believe are fair. We would rather clearly tell you what an app costs than hide its real cost behind advertising or undisclosed data practices. Some of our apps are one-time purchases and some are subscriptions; the price and purchase type are displayed before checkout.
“Free” does not always mean cost-free
Free apps may earn money through advertisements, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or data collection. Depending on the app and the permissions a user grants, that data may include device information, location, contacts or addresses, browsing activity, and usage patterns. Some companies build very large businesses from these models. When the model is not explained clearly, it can be difficult to understand the app’s true cost.
Our promise for BCAppsDev apps
BCAppsDev LLC’s own apps do not use advertising as payment for access, and we do not sell your personal information. We charge the price shown and clearly identify recurring subscriptions. You receive the app under its stated license without a hidden data-for-access bargain.
Third-party apps
BC Apps Market also hosts apps from independent developers, including free apps. Those developers choose their own revenue and privacy models and are responsible for their apps. We expect them to describe those practices accurately and be upfront about advertisements, purchases, subscriptions, and data collection. Review each third-party app’s description, permissions, and privacy policy before installing it.
